Christmas for me has never been a religious event. For me, it's about what I've been and where I'm going. Being around family reminds me of where I come from and I look to the new year to what I might become. It's a joyous day and a wistful one as well. Also: it's fun to make people happy. I hope everyone has an enjoyable day! |

Is it a Phoenix with a pine tree tail?
And this aside, Christians have stolen 25th of December from an ancient Celtic sacred day that means the return of the light in the cycle of Nature: the day begins to get longer again. That's the only meaning of Christmas for me: I belong to no religion, I'm just deist and animist in the sense Nature is sacred in a whole. Flaws of religions lead too often to fundamentalism, that's why I reject them.
