Merry Christmas to all my friends and DA watchers!
Christmas for me has never been a religious event. For me, it's about what I've been and where I'm going. Being around family reminds me of where I come from and I look to the new year to what I might become.
It's a joyous day and a wistful one as well.
Also: it's fun to make people happy.

And this aside, Christians have stolen 25th of December from an ancient Celtic sacred day that means the return of the light in the cycle of Nature: the day begins to get longer again. That's the only meaning of Christmas for me: I belong to no religion, I'm just deist and animist in the sense Nature is sacred in a whole. Flaws of religions lead too often to fundamentalism, that's why I reject them.
