e-gads I finally finished it. I can stop obsessing about it now. obsessing about Starscream however....
I can't help but notice how often he dies in the Transformers franchise, then is reborn so I rather fancied drawing Starscream mid-resurrection as it were. Basically I got a bit Giger-que on Starscream. Oops. I know there's a butt load of flaws, but I like it, I'm finished and here we go. He started off Armada-style then halfway mutated into Cybertron-style then I started making him kinda movie-style like. So he's a horrible chimera of styles. heh. Sorry all my follow Screamer fans! From this: [link] I think I got a bit carried away. Tried a "new" technique in painter and basically painted this whole thing first in oils, then fine paintbrush and then airbrushed the whole thing, minus the background which I left all blobby and abstract because my hand is about to fall off. This is ridiculous in how awesome it is. I'm at a loss for words. And man... I seriously dig people re-designing any of the Cybertronians and adding their own touch. I love to see people's own incarnations of them. -hearts all over the place-
